Animal Bike Tour gives Basingstoke a sip!
With the Animal Bike Tour warmed up and full speed ahead, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make a stop in Basingstoke to see the guys at the Animal store in Festival Place Shopping Centre and give them a sip of some liquid hot bike show radness.

Limited space meant it was time for the Martyn Show! No room for Blake here I’m afraid! The rig was modified to suit using the quarter pipe trailer and the Vito Sport to create a trials heaven for Martyn to conquer in the shows.
The new rig looked amazing on the smooth marble floor, white wall surroundings and glass roof letting the sun shine through to illuminate the space, Martyn certainly loved it “The option of a trials only show is a really great thing to be able to do if space is tight, it was exciting to try it out and it’s been a great challenge.”

We are known for occasionally enjoying the pleasure of a ‘special guest’ on the show; Danny McAskill, Sam Pilgrim, Issac Lesser, etc… but on this day we put a different spin on the proceedings, and were proud to introduce the Basingstoke Academy of Dancing, who whipped up a good vibe before the shows.
Martyn was feeling the pressure of being the lone rider, but obviously teamed with talented and witty James (MC), and backed by some banging beats from Robin, he immediately got in the zone. Even managing to squeeze in some upside down manoeuvres on the tight rig that was met by gasps of delight. Between shows Martyn took the time to head over to the very fresh looking Animal Store to sign some autographs from a receptive crowd eager for a bit of Ashton!

A great time was had by all in Basingstoke. We leave you with a quote from the Events Manager of Festival Place;
“I can’t thank you all enough – it was amazing. I know it wasn’t the easiest of locations but we really appreciate the effort and professionalism that you all put in to it. I’m sure that apart from increasing sales in the store you sent a lot of people home with a great memory of something they may not get the opportunity to see again.” Theresa Chapman.
….unless they’re going to be in Poole tomorrow, attending Beach Break live this weekend, or at any of our other slamming events !
See you there!
James Thorne
